How many men on the line of scrimmage?
« on: September 03, 2020, 10:41:55 am »
I seen some new rules at the high school level on number of men on the LOS. Has that changed at our level to? What is the number of players required on LOS?

Yes HS changed that a couple of years ago - you must have at least 5 players on the LOS at the snap (but no more than 4 people in the backfield)

Does This rule apply for all 3rd through 7th grades?
Does this mean receivers due not have to be On the line of scrummage? If so do they not count as being in the backfield?

Only 4 people (including receivers) can be in the back field at the snap.  It does include 3rd through 7th.
