Lineman locking arms?

We were penalized for the first time for a formation we have ran for three weeks.  We have our lineman lock arms when the ball is snapped. We were told they can’t lock arms. I never found that in the rule book.

Offensive linemen may not lock arms - that would be illegal use of hands - 10 yard penalty.
It is in the NFHS rulebook (High School) which the INFC goes by other than what is in the INFC rulebook.
