I need clarification on this
If the qb is in the pocket arm back to throw and you cause him to fumble is that a fumble or dead ball?
No whistle blown until we picked up the fumble and ran down field. Ref called it a dead ball because he wasn’t moving foward! This was a difference in the game. I burnt a time out discussing it and said ref admitted being in the wrong and his words said I know I’ll get my butt chewed. The refs are so inconsistent this year and it’s a damn shame!
