Play clock is 25 seconds to snap the ball once it is marked ready for play....

25 seconds is the correct answer.  That is from the time the ball is set, ready for play, and the Referee blows his whistle indicating he is starting the play clock.  Especially the first couple weeks when coaches are allowed on the field, the officials should be slower to start the play clock and work with the coaches on the field to get the kids in and out of the huddle.

Thank you Zebra99 we hope to get more hustle in our kids this week.  We hope to be at 25 seconds by Saturday.  We will see though.

Biggest suggestion I would give is try not to have a player shuttle in the play.  If you do have the play ready to go as fast as possible after the previous play ends, while the officials are getting the ball spotted.  Too many times I see coaches slow on this and then by time the kid gets to the huddle, there is already 10 to 15 seconds ran off the play clock.   Then by time they get to the line, you have no time for shifting or adjustments sometimes.
