2nd Grade Side/Baseline Out of Bounds

When the offense has sideline or baseline out of bounds in the front court does the defense have to remain inside the three point arc for a new five second count if the offense passes the ball outside of the three point arc?

Sorry I just started monitoring the message board.
It is my understanding that this would be the case.  A new 5 seconds would start once the ball is touched by an offensive player in bounds.
